Doma, Senior UX Researcher
2021 - 2023
I joined Doma as a grad school UX Research intern, and quickly became a full-time Product Design team member who helped establish and grow the user research team and our standard practices.
I worked closely with Product Designers, Product Managers and Engineers, leading research strategy and activities for two of the company’s primary product areas. My research focused on two user groups: Title Operations Associates and Title Agency Leadership.
The operations research required establishing a baseline understanding of title operations, for myself and my tech teammates, such that we could build thematic insights and effectively target areas in which current workflows and tech solutions hindered our teammates. The title agency research showcased my ability to crosswalk user insights to strategic implications at a senior leadership and executive level.
Change Healthcare, AI Engagement Behavioral Researcher
2018 - 2021
As a Behavioral Researcher on the AI Engagement team, I served as a consulting researcher for business units and products across the Change Healthcare organization. Though my research topics varied greatly between projects, healthcare consumer behavioral change and AI model data requirement + output identification were my consistent objectives. Two of my behavioral change projects resulted in user uptake increases of 7% and 15%.
I also facilitated many interactive learning and ideation sessions, using traditional Design Thinking methods and newer approaches like question-storming.
Change Healthcare, Accelerated Development Program
2016 - 2018
This two-year rotational program provided my introduction to UX Research, and for that I am forever grateful!
Over my four rotations across the organization, I gained deep understanding of corporate pricing and budgets, user research and encouraging innovation, and product development (including writing Jira tickets/user stories).

In 8 weeks, I led the development of persona and journey map templates and artifacts for the employee experience tools team. The team needed a way to quickly immerse stakeholders in the needs of their internal users, who often wear different hats to complete their tasks. I constructed a unique persona set with key behavior cards aligned with each persona’s jobs to be done (JTBD). The key behavior cards allowed for specificity in defining use cases and designing user experiences.
My final delivery consisted of a Figjam persona template, a Figjam journey map template, 2 completed Sales protopersonas with 6 key behavior cards, and 3 journey maps.
